Alejandra Nava
Nacida en el Puerto de Veracruz, México en 1989.
Es egresada del Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine EFTI habiendo cursado el Ciclo Profesional (2017-2018) y el Master Internacional de Fotografía y Gestión de Proyectos (2018-2019). Actualmente estudia la Licenciatura de Historia del Arte en Universitario BAUHAUS y una formación técnica en Gestión cultural por parte de la Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes respectivamente.
En el 2017 fue seleccionada para presentar su proyecto “El segundo golpe de agua” en la PRIMERA RÉPLICA: TRASLUZ PHOTO “PECHAKUCHA” de CÓDIGO ABIERTO LATINOAMÉRICA en la ciudad de Veracruz, México. Ademas fue seleccionada para presentarlo nuevamente en la 18 edición de Fotoproyectos en el Centro Internacional de Fotografía y Cine EFTI, en la ciudad de Madrid, España, en el 2018.
Participó en la exposición colectiva “Documenta” del festival internacional de fotografía periodística y documental MIRAR DISTINTO en la ciudad de Xalapa, Veracruz, en el 2018. Ademas “Alguien está viajando furiosamente hacia ti” en la ciudad de Madrid, España.
El 14 de marzo del 2020 fue inaugurada su primera exposición individual presentando su proyecto “EL SEGUNDO GOLPE DE AGUA” en la Ciudad de Puebla, México.
Actualmente se encuentra trabajando como "Assistant Visuals Editor" para Condé Nast. Además de ser parte del equipo organización y comité de exposición del Festival Internacional de Fotografía Periodística y Documental “MIRAR DISTINTO”.
Le interesan abordar temas en torno a la identidad, el territorio público y privado, la violencia desde diferentes niveles y la migración . Reflexiona sobre los vínculos familiares y la memoria individual y colectiva.

Alejandra Nava
Born in the Port of Veracruz, Mexico in 1989.
She is a graduate of the EFTI International Center of Photography and Film, having studied the Professional Cycle (2017-2018) and the International Master of Photography and Project Management (2018-2019). She is currently studying at BAUHAUS University Degree in Art History and a technical training in Cultural Management at the Miguel de Cervantes European University respectively.
In 2017 she was selected to present her project "EL SEGUNDO GOLPE DE AGUA" in the FIRST REPLICA: TRASLUZ PHOTO "PECHAKUCHA" of CODGO ABIERTO LATINOAMERICA in the city of Veracruz, México. It was also selected to be presented again at the 18th edition of Photoprojects at the EFTI International Center of Photography and Film in the city of Madrid, Spain, in 2018.
She participated in the collective exhibition "Documenta" of the international festival of journalistic and documentary photography MIRAR DISTINTO in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz, in 2018. Also "Someone is traveling furiously towards you" in the city of Madrid, Spain, in 2019.
On March 14, 2020 was inaugurated her first solo exhibition presenting his project "EL SEGUNDO GOLPE DE AGUA" in Puebla City, Mexico.
She is currently working as "Assistant Visuals Editor" for Condé Nast. She is also a member of the organization team and exhibition committee of the International Festival of Journalistic and Documentary Photography "MIRAR DISTINTO".
She is interested in addressing issues around identity, public and private territory, violence from different levels and migration. She reflects on family ties and individual and collective memory.
